The Management of Ghana Manganese Company has presented 21 wheel chairs and eight hospital beds valued at GHC11,300 at a ceremony at Nsuta near Tarkwa on Thursday.
Presenting the items, the Managing Director of the company, Mr. Jurgen Eijgendaal, said the donation was to resource eight health centres and the Association of the Physically Challenged.
The donation forms part of the corporate social responsibility of the company.
The company, he said, identified the needs of the facilities after series of meetings with them and would continue providing more of such facilities as at their request.
The beneficiary clinics are Nsuaem, Simpa, Dompim, Benso and Mile Eight.
The rest are Aboso, Awodua and Wute Clinics, which are all in the catchment areas of the company.
