An Independent Presidential Candidate, Jacob Osei Yeboah, has asked President John Mahama and Nana Akuffo Addo to appeal to their teaming supporters to donate blood to stock the various blood banks.
Mr. Osei Yeboah told George Asekere that blood is life hence, all energetic people should cultivate the habit of blood donation.
Meanwhile, the National Organiser of the NDC, Yaw Boateng Gyan says he will personally take the lead to donate blood at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital.
He appealed to National Democratic Congress, NDC, supporters and members to donate blood as a sign of appreciation to Ghanaians for retaining the party in power.
The Convention People�s Party, CPP, has also appealed to its supporters to donate blood to save lives.
The General Secretary of the party, Ivor Greenstreet, told Radio Ghana that every effort must be made to get more people to donate blood.
