The Member of Parliament for Ablekuma South and Board Member of Korle Bu Teaching hospital, Fritz Baffour has called for a Commission of Enquiry to investigate the rumpus surrounding the locking out of the hospital’s Director of Administration, Nelson Menorkpor.
According to the MP the situation at the Hospital is unfortunate but added that the work of a commission will help resolve the situation amicably.
The MP’s comment come after Citi News’ investigations revealed that there is some unrest within the administrative structure at the Hospital where some board members almost resorted to fisticuffs to end the lock out of the embattled Director of Administration.
Speaking to Citi News on Friday, Fritz Baffour said the situation is making it difficult for the board members to work.
“The situation has made it very difficult for some of us the board members to work. It is totally unsavoury, we are trying to work very hard for this thing to be resolved.
“What I savour very strongly now is for a commission of enquiry to be formed to look into what caused the situation".
Honorable Fritz Baffour further condemned the Board of directors for their inability to solve the situation at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital calling for the dissolution of the board if pragmatic steps are not taken to solve situation.
