Twenty-four suspects have been arrested in a swoop in Bawku during the wee hours of Monday by the police.
The suspects, all Mamprusis, are believed to have attacked a Kusasi a few days ago in Bawku.
The swoop, which took place at Urongo, a Mamprusi suburb in Bawku, was hugely successful following some information about the attackers which was provided by the victim, Shaibu.
One of the suspects, Pattinton, according to information had in his possession 854 live bullets of which 164 are for G3 rifles and the remaining 690 for AK47 rifles.
The suspects are currently undergoing screening at the Bawku Police command and two of them ďż˝ DJ Wor and Landlord ďż˝ have been identified by Shaibu as part of those who attacked him on that fateful day.
