President John Mahama has called on the nation's media houses to be circumspect in their reportage before, during and after the December elections.
Addressing a cross-section of the media in Kumasi, President Mahama said: "During the election, try and verify any information you receive. Either call someone who is on site or call a sister station to verify if something is going on.”
“If you do not do this, you will use the media landscape to incense people and it could create major problems for Ghana,” he noted.
