Motorists who ply the Accra-Tema motorway are likely to meet heavy traffic on Thursday as the Ministry of Roads and Highways begins repair works on a broken bridge opposite the Accra abattoir.
Speaking to Radio Ghana, the Sector Minister, Alhaji Amidu Sulemani said the motorway will not be closed entirely but there will be diversions to ensure free flow of traffic.
Meanwhile, Alhaji Sulemani has hinted of plans for rehabilitation works to start on the entire motorway.
He noted that works on the highway will be done through a Public Private Partnership.
