Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, Minister of Communication has indicated that the June 2015 deadline set for the migration from analogue to Digital Terrestrial Television broadcasting cannot be met.
The Digital Terrestrial Television broadcasting is an advancement over the analog television and it allows viewers to receive higher quality video and audio signals.
Speaking in an interview to Kwami Sefa Kayi on Thursday's edition of PEACE FM morning show 'Kokrokoo', the Minister said by February, 2016, every household in every region in the country, will experience the digital terrestrial television broadcasting. He further gave reasons for the change of date.
