President John Mahama on Friday signed a book of condolence opened for the late Mrs. Theodosia Okoh, designer of the Ghana National Flag.
Mrs Okoh who was also the first female chairman of the Ghana Hockey Association died over the weekend at age 92.
On Tuesday, the Communications Minister, Dr. Edward Omane Boamah in a statement directed that all national flags should fly at half-mast for the next 3 days nationwide in honour of Mrs Okoh.
The President was accompanied by the Greater Accra Regional Minister, Nii Laryea Afotey-Agbo, the Gender Minister, Nana Oye Lithur, Minister of State in charge of Public-Private Sector, Rashid Pelpuo, among others.
