Our attention has been drawn to the fact that a story published on our portal (Peacefmonline.com) on 14th June, 2015 and headlined, "UNICOF Staff Gang Up Against Esiape -Over Alleged Bribery And Corruption", was factually inaccurate.
The publication, which was in connection with allegations levelled against Mr John Esiape, General Secretary of the Union of Industry, Commerce and Finance Workers (UNICOF) of the Ghana Trades Union Congress (TUC) by some “staff” of the Union during the recent adb impasse, were not borne out of facts.
We, therefore, wish to apologise unreservedly to Mr Esiape, his family and to anyone connected to him who felt slighted by the publication.
As a mark of the sincerity of our apology, the offending news item has since been pulled down from our website (Peacefmonline).
Thank You
Nana Kwadwo Asante
