The Tamale Teaching Hospital (TTH) and the Tamale Central Hospital (TCH) recorded 11 normal deliveries on Christmas Day.
The TTH recorded six deliveries, who were three boys and three girls whilst the TCH recorded five deliveries; three boys and two girls.
All the deliveries were recorded before 0900 hours.
Madam Paulina Gyamera, Midwifery Officer at the Labour Ward of TTH, who spoke to the Ghana News Agency on Friday, said all the children and their mothers were in good condition and would be discharged by the next day.
Madam Amina Adam, Senior Midwife at the Labour Ward of the TCH said there was no complication adding the children and their mothers were in good condition and would be discharged in the next few hours.
