Residents of Paebo, Nsawam-Adoagyiri Municipality of the Eastern Region, who were affected by the dynamite explosion last Wednesday, November 23, 2015, have called on government to come to their aid before they take any drastic decision.
The affected residents told PEACE FM news they could not rely on National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) officials who have been there several times promising to come to their aid with some items, but have not yet presented to them anything.
The dynamite explosion which has killed one person, left 12 others injured, rendering over 1,225 residents homeless by NADMO research.
According to the residents, it is a big blow to their lives as human beings, since their hard earned investment made years ago have been riped off.
They lamented bitterly that government, particularly president John Mahama has not being fair to them because he gives directives to authorities involved to extent helping hands to countries who face such tragedies but have negleted his own people.
