Multinational Unilever lost one of its warehouses in Tema on Saturday to a fierce fire which raged for two hours.
The fire, which started around 1500 hours, was extinguished by the Ghana National Fire Service and the Fire Department of Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority.
Briefing journalists, Mr Gabriel Opoku Asare, Unilever Corporate Communications Manager, said the cause of fire is unknown.
According to him, stock would be taken to ascertain the value of what has been lost and the necessary measures implemented to prevent fire at the factory in future.
