Rev Isaac Owusu-Bempah, leader of Glorious Word Ministry, has been hailed for correctly prophesying the electoral victory of Nana Akufo-Addo.
His church premise could be likened to a political rally, when crowds of persons clad in NPP colours trooped to the place with brass bands in wild jubilation yesterday.
There were hundreds of persons on motor bikes honking and displaying their riding skills.
“Nana Addo would be the best president Ghana would ever have and I will continue to pray for him so he will achieve his promises to Ghanaians. He needs prayers now more than ever. I am also calling on Christians to support Nana Addo with prayers so he can deliver,” Rev Owusu-Bempah stated and said the glory should be given to God that His words have come true.
The prophet said he was not perturbed by the many insults and threats he received because he knew the prophecy was from God. “If God had not revealed to me, I would not have gone out publicly with the message. When God says yes no man can say no. So I was very optimistic that Nana Addo will win once God had told me,” he added.
Rev Owusu-Bempah told DAILY GUIDE that Nana Addo’s victory has made many Ghanaians to believe in prophecy and has also strengthened the faith of many Christians worldwide.
Many Ghanaians, both in Ghana and the Diaspora, have applauded Rev Owusu-Bempah for the boldness with which he prophesized that the NPP would win the December 7 presidential polls.
They have described the renowned man of God as a true prophet because almost all his prophecies have come to pass, calling for his instatement as the nation’s prophet.
Rev Owusu Bempah, in the beginning of the year, publicly prophesied that the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akufo-Addo, and the NPP would win the 2016 elections and it will be a one touch victory.
According to the outspoken man of God, the almighty God has rejected President Mahama because there is too much blood on his hands and, therefore, can’t retain power.
In spite of the numerous threats and attacks on him following his prophecy, he maintained his position on the prophecy and even asked members of the public to burn down his church if his prophecy fails.
In his victory speech, the President-elect Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo acknowledged the efforts of Rev Owusu-Bempah and some other pastors who helped in diverse ways to ensure his victory.
He specifically mentioned Rev Owusu-Bempah’s name and thanked him for his spiritual “solidarity”, which he said helped him on his way to winning the 2016 election.
Prophecies
This is not the first time Rev Owusu-Bempah has prophesied about Ghana’s election.
In 1996, he prophesied that former President Jerry John Rawlings will win the elections and in 2000, he prophesied former President John Agyekum Kufuor’s victory.
Also in 2008, he prophesied the late Professor Atta Mill’s victory and that of outgoing President John Mahama in 2012.
Others too said the president-elect should make Rev Owusu-Bempah his spiritual father so he can continue to intercede for him and the nation.

This man really knows the scriptures and is very bold. Wow I listened to him on Paul Adom Otchere's show, he knew what he was talking about, and this was in November, before the ballots had be cast.
Kojo "when Nana was killing sheep and goat etc to curse EC" where u there? did Nana called to come and help him to kill the sheep and goat? Did see it with your own two eyes? Kojo only talk about what your own eyes have seen.
I admire him for his boldness and consistency, regardless of threats and intimidations he had,no wonder Nana Addo recognized him in his acceptance speech.God bless him for his accurate prophecy and courage.
What kind of Jesus? the black one or the white one?I am talk about the devilllllish act Akufo Addo instructed his people to do by cursing EC chairwomen and her family, this Asante man called Owusu Bempa attributing it to God. God if he or she exist does not like cursing people. So why the so called man of God is saying Akufo Addo became president because of God? That is what I am talking about. For your information I am not NDC member I do not belong to any party okay. However, the truth must be told about this Akufo Addo who was desperate to become the president to killing sheep, goat etc to curse EC. what kind of behavior is this.
BY FORCE SELF PROMOTION,I THINK THERE ARE BETTER PROPHETS IN THIS COUNTRY TO BE NANA'S SPIRITUAL FATHER THAN THIS SELF GLORIFICATION PROPHET HE CALLS HIMSELF
Why this Asante fooo000000000l is disturbing our ears.NDC rule 8 years after kufour so what does he expect? Fooo0000lish Asante devill11111 after colllecting money from poor people now Ghanaians are worshiping you as Asante fooo00000l God.I do not believe that there is God who can make some devill111 become president. Why go to you-tube and see how Akufo Addo instructed his Asante Akyem people to curse EC chairwoman and her family, and God made him president with this behavior, then God is the most foooo0000lish being in the world.Look at this Asante foo000000000ls cursing here and there because somebody wants to be the president, and OWusu or devilll111 is attributing this to God.
its simple and undestand that your enemies will do everything to bring you down, i don believe in his prophecy, like turning a coin which has only two side and with the believing that its either A or B.
l still don't believe he is a man of God. NPP victory was very obvious as Ghanaians are very unhappy with NDC administration. Many self acclaimed prophets prophecied NPP's victory. Still the harvest is plenty but the labourers are few... Owusu Bempah should use his gift to draw souls to heaven and not involve in politics.
Religion according to the bible should have nothing with Politics. Jesus Rejected an offer to be made king. All these kingdoms of the world will come to an end. Only God's kingdom will stand forever. Dan 2:44 Pastors should focus more on the message not politics.
i now believe in prophecy
