Former Second Lady, Mrs. Matilda Amissah-Arthur has advised the kids in Kinder Paradise, an orphanage at Prampram, to take their lessons serious in order to excel in life and become the future leaders of this country.
Mrs. Amissah-Arthur gave the advice last Saturday, during a visit to Kinder Paradise, an orphanage at Prampram, in the Dangme East District of the Greater Accra Region where she donated assorted food items and also interacted with the children.
She said it had been her practice to visit the orphanage twice a year to extend a helping hand to orphans.
As part of her Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), she donated food items – bags of rice, cooking oil, candies, drinks and some educational materials to support the children.
She advised the children in the orphanage to work hard and also respect their caregivers.
Kinder Paradise, meaning Children’s Paradise in the German language, is a Christian charitable institution, which cares for deprived children.
Madam Silke Roesner, Director of Kinder Paradise, expressed gratitude to the second Lady.
Kinder Paradise was established in October, 1998.
