A retired Ghanaian diplomat, writer and politician, Kwaku Baprui Asante popularly known as KB Asante has passed on.
Family sources indicate that the elderly statesman died Monday dawn at his residence in Accra, according to Starr News.
He was 93-years-old.
He was the Secretary to Ghana’s First President Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.
K.B Asante also served under most Heads of States in Ghana, starting from Nkrumah, and also served as the Principal Secretary at African Affairs Secretariat from 1960 to 1966.
He was educated at Achimota School and later returned there to teach Mathematics.

A great loss to Mother Ghana. I will miss his writings and his advocacy for discipline. Ghana is poorer without K.B Asante but we all can be unanimous in agreeing he has paid his dues. RIP,grandpa!
