The remains of the former Secretary-General of the United Nations (UN), Busumuru Kofi Annan has arrived in Accra for the three-day state funeral.
The plane, which carried the casket draped in a UN flag, accompanied by his wife, Nane Maria, children and some UN officials touched down at the Kotoka International Airport in Accra at 17:24 GMT after it left Geneva, Switzerland Monday morning.
At the airport to receive the remains was President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and many other officials including Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and the Speaker of Parliament, Prof Aaron Mike Ocquaye.
After the casket was taken from the airplane, the UN flag draping it was removed and a Ghanaian flag used to drap it.
