The Ghana Police Service says it has interrogated some 13 suspects in connection with the murder of Ahmed Hussein- Suale, an investigative journalist working with Anas Aremeyaw Anas and Tiger Eye P.I.
Ahmed Hussein-Suale was shot dead at Madina in Accra in January this year.
The Director of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service, Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah, speaking at a press conference held on Tuesday said 13 persons including Assin Central Member of Parliament, Kennedy Agyepong and Anas Aremeyaw Anas, have been identified and questioned while one key suspect is in custody.
"We've done lots of investigations and through the eyewitness, we have been able to come a long way. Unfortunately, I'm unable to provide the details of what we have done so that we don't compromise the investigation. We have gone far, in the course of this investigation, 13 suspects have been questioned, one is currently on remand assisting us with our investigation," she indicated.
