The government in Eswatini has announced it will bring in a ban on the sale of alcohol from 1 July in an effort to contain the spread of coronavirus.
In a series of tweets, the government said that the measure will be introduced after a surge of coronavirus cases in the last two weeks.
The government did not elaborate on why they believe alcohol is one of the leading causes of the spread of coronavirus.
The tiny country which borders South Africa on three sides has recorded 643 cases of coronavirus and six deaths.
It's neighbour South Africa has the biggest Covid-19 outbreak in Africa.
