National Chairman of Okada Riders Association, Mohammed Tijani says his members will support and vote for any Presidential Candidate willing to pass a law for the legalisation of Okada business in the country.
He told NEAT FM’s morning show ‘Ghana Montie’ that, they have been looking forward to this legalisation of the business for a very long time.
NDC’s flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama on his campaign tour promised to legalize the commercial motor bicycle (Okada) operations should he win the elections.
According to him, Okada employs more than some of the initiatives introduced by the government.
But the NPP says the proposal of the legalisation of Okada business is under review in parliament and will be soon passed into law.
