The Ghana Police Hospital will on Friday, March 26, shutdown some its departments to allow for a fumigation exercise as part of measures in the fight against the Coronavirus disease.
The departments include the Out Patients' Department (OPD), Administration, Paediatrics, Laboratory, Pathology, Pharmacy, Dental, Radiology, Medical Records and Quartermaster Stores.
A letter signed by the Head of Public Affairs of the Ghana Police Hospital, DSP Yaw Nketia-Yeboah, and issued on Tuesday, March 22, 2021, said services at the affected departments would resume on Sunday, March 28.
It noted however that arrangements have been made to provide emergency services at the Special Block from Friday, March 26, 2021.
Also, Special Consulting Rooms, Theatre, Wards, Catering, Medical Stores and Annex Block would also be shutdown from Friday, April 02, 2021 to Saturday, April 03, 2021 for the same exercise and would resume activities on Sunday, April 04, 2021.
