Social Commentator, Bernard Allotey Jacobs has offered a way to make Ghana self-dependent and self-sufficient so as to address her economic problems.
He encouraged Ghanaians to develop the habit of cultivating foodstuffs in their backyard.
He termed this 'Operation Feed Yourself'.
"There are four things that we need; maize, rice, plantain and vegetables . . . Even if the government isn't able to do it, then we will recall to ourselves 'Operation Feed Yourself' that you can grow pepper in your backyard. Today, we don't necessarily need a land," he charged the citizens while speaking on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo" Wednesday morning.
