The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) has averted a situation that could have resulted in a disaster.
Information gathered by Peace FM's 'Kokrokoo' team indicated that a gas tanker that broke down over a week ago was left unattended to at Duampopo in the Ashanti Region.
Hello FM's Samson Kwame Nyamekye who followed up on the issue disclosed the tanker was not empty as it was still filled with gas.
According to an update by Samson Kwame Nyamekye, a few hours after the report, personnel from the GNFS, NADMO and the Police arrived at the scene to ensure the tanker was removed.
