THE BISHOP of Winners Chapel, Ghana has admonished Christians to guard against the temptation of allowing the devil to steal their vision.

Bishop George Adjeman told a large congregation of worshippers at the Madina Branch of the church last Sunday that poor self image and intimidation were some of the possible ways the devil could steal a Christian’s vision.

Explaining further, he noted that delusion and sin consciousness were also part of the devil’s agenda to devastate, weaken and paralyze his victims.

Bishop Adjeman who based his teaching and preaching on the theme: ‘Focus on your Vision’ cautioned Christians to hold fast to the sound of the Good News which is the word of God.

“It is important to understand that when you rob a man of his vision, you have robbed him of his tomorrow, since a man without vision is hopeless.”

He said vision encourages people to develop their aspirations and turn them into reality adding, “when you connect with your vision, you release your passion and have a better understanding of who you are, what you stand for and where you are going.”

Quoting a lot of scriptures to buttress his point, Bishop Adjeman encouraged Christians to have faith in God and wait patiently for the manifestation of his vision saying “even though it tarries it will surely come to pass.”

He further told the congregation to always ensure they have a vision because “blind minds are worse than blind eyes.”

Giving the example of Samson, Bishop Adjeman posited that the Philistines saw the fire in his eyes as a result of his vision which was burning inside him.

He averred that the power of vision rested upon the eyes of every visionary person, since that represented the ability to see farther than what the ordinary eyes can see.

He said even though blind people win the sympathy of society, that cannot be said of those with blindness in their minds and once again appealed to Christians not to be visionless.

The Bishop encouraged the worshippers to never feel intimidated by anybody but have total faith in God, and also hold fast unto the sweet sounds of the Good News they hear.
