A ban on public gathering including church activities has been imposed in the country following the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.
Most churches have resorted to virtual services.
Meanwhile, a few of the pastors who have been flouting the ban have been arrested and granted bail.
Speaking to this in an interaction with Kwami Sefa Kayi on Peace FM morning show 'Kokrokoo', Education Minister, Matthew Opoku Prempeh also known as Napo, wondered why some of the pastors insist on meeting the church members at church.
'God is Omnipresent' he said.

Would the education minister explain to me how many contacts one needs to test positive for coronavirus. If you travelled with someone on plane carrying few passengers, sat down with the same guy who had tested positive for the virus, also attend ceremony with the same person and another party late in the night with the same guy and shook hands. If none can contract this virus with this number of contacts then body contact once every Sunday is nothing- granting that none of the officials who travelled with the Norwegian ambassador to Norway for an official ceremony and back and to Kumasi for independence day celebration then to Peduasi lodge for first lady's birthday party to chill
COVID 19 is doing so much wonders. Who would have thought that an arrogant man who insults elderly women like professor naana opoku agyeman would be giving sermon at this time.
