A student group at the Christian Service University College in Kumasi, who go by the name "Achievers Family", has presented assorted items valued at about GH�675.00 in support of the Asante-Mampong Babies Home.
The items, which included apparel and food items, were donated on behalf of the group by its leader, Miss Abigail Asamoah.
She said it was the contribution of the members towards helping to make the kids, enjoy some happiness especially during the Christmas.
The Superintendent of the home, Ms Mabel Asafu-Adjaye thanked the students for the kind gesture and appealed to individuals and institutions for more assistance.
Established in 1967 by the Anglican Diocese of Kumasi to accommodate 25 babies, the home now has a population of 46.
Ms Asafu-Adjaye said lack of the means of transport, dormitories and portable water are the main challenges facing the institution.
