The remains of late President John Evans Atta Mills has been moved to the Banquet Hall of the State House for a three-day funeral and burial ceremony to officially begin.
Members of Parliament have gathered at Parliament House to receive the body to pay their last respect. President Mills� body will be laid in state at the Banquet Hall where President John Dramani Mahama and his wife will become the first personalities to file past it before his vice Mr. Kwesi Amissah-Arthur and spouse does so.
Hundreds of people have lined up the principal streets of Accra with a heavy vehicular traffic mounting at vantage points forcing people to disembark to continue their journey to work on foot.
A large number of Ghanaians and foreigners will have the opportunity to pay their last respects to the late President from Wednesday as the country commences an elaborate three-day state funeral.
The President died on Tuesday July 24, 2012.
