The Vice President of Ghana Paa Kwesi Amissah-Arthur has assured Muslims that government will ensure that this years Hajj pilgrim will be incident free.
Speaking to a gathering of Muslims Thursday evening at an event dubbed night of power which forms part of series of activities to mark the end of the Ramadan, Mr Amissah-Arthur said government is excited about the contribution of Muslims to the growth of the nation.
He thanked them for praying for the nation ahead of the 2012 general elections and assured that Government will do everything possible to help prospective hajj pilgrims embark on a successful pilgrimage.
I want to assure Ghanaian Muslims that just as the government has tried to ensure peaceful and dignified hajj for Ghanaian pilgrims in the last three years, so shall we do our best to ensure that this years hajj is incident free.
