Just when the Ghanaian public is being encouraged to eschew the tendency of mob justice, a young man in his late twenties believed to be a student in one of the tertiary institutions at Legon has been lynched by a group of men for allegedly stealing a mobile phone.
The incident took place behind the Dell Hospital at Mimpe' asem in East Legon. The police reportedly arrived at the scene of the incident late and could not save the young man.
He was pronounced dead upon arrival at the Police Hospital. The Police have however arrested some suspects in connection with the case.
