Pastor Mike Aidoo, Head Pastor of Liberty Centre Assemblies of God Church at Takoradi, on Tuesday appealed to churches to concentrate on winning souls rather than focusing on wealth.
He said some churches had shifted from the focus and the core mandate of soul winning and evangelism as ordained by Christ to speeches of riches and wealth for personal aggrandizement to the detriment of the salvation.
Pastor Aidoo, who was saying the sermon at an all night service to usher in the New Year, appealed to churches and the leadership of religious organizations to focus on winning souls for the Kingdom of God.
