Three passengers on-board a taxi cab wit registration number GS-4658-13 this morning sustained various degrees of injury when the taxi on which they were travelling caught fire right infront of Eco-Bank branch at Tarkwa in the Tarkwa Nsuem Municipal of the Western Region.
According to our reg. correspondent, the victims were rushed to Tarkwa Govt. Hospital for treatment.
Although, the taxi cab was not using GAS to power its engine, but an eye witness told our reporter that, a white substance loaded at the booth of the taxi exploded and caught fire.
The taxi driver is said to have loaded the passengers and the substance from Tarkwa Market circle to New station.
Medical officers are yet to identify the victims
but told reporters that their condition is critical.
Fire officials are yet to send samples of the substance to laboratory for testiing.
