Some members of TV Africa news crew were detained by the National Security team on Friday.
The members of the crew were reportedly picked up by national security operatives at Adjei Kojo.
A Deputy News editor at TV Africa, Nii Tettey Ablorh confirmed the incident in an interview with Shamima Muslim on Eye Witness News.
According to him, the team had gone to the area to assess the impact of Thursdays heavy rainfall on residents.
According to my reporter they were arrested by a military cum police and some men from the national security asking to know why we [TV Africa] were there to cover stories from the Adjei Kojo, he said.
He however, revealed that the news crew had been released after a thorough search.
They forced them to remove their shoes, their watches so that they search them; they seized the camera, claiming they want to go through the camera to see if they dont have any shots to tell a story against them, he added.
