The Northern Regional Police Command has opened investigation into the alleged shooting and killing of Alhassan Naziru at Sagnarigu and the lynching of Mustapha Abdul Rashid at Aboabo.
The command is also investigating the destruction of properties of the Bayport Financial Services and the burning down of Radio Justice both in Tamale.
A statement issued in Tamale on Friday and signed by Ken Yeboah, Northern Regional Police Commander appealed to the public especially persons with information that will lead to the arrest of the perpetrators to do so through the regional police command.
The statement said informants should call the following numbers (03720-22844, 03720-22736, 03720-22339 and 03720-33154) and that anyone who will provide information leading to the arrest and successful prosecution of the killers would receive a reward of GH˘10,000.00.
The statement assured all informants that their identity would be protected and appealed to them not to fear but should come forward to volunteer any information that would lead to the arrest of the perpetrators.
The command has therefore appealed to the public to go about their normal duties without fear since the police were under control and would deal with anyone caught breaching the peace.
