The Minister of Lands and Natural Resources, Alhaji Inusah Fuseini, has expressed governments readiness to partner any investor who will assist the country to build a refinery to add value to gold.
It is unfortunate that a country that was branded as Gold Coast by our colonial masters has not been able to brand Ghanas gold, he said.
The Minister said this when Jeeva Sagar, Indian High Commissioner to Ghana, called on him to discuss how the two countries could strengthen their bilateral relationship.
He stressed the need to build partnership to provide linkages that would move Ghanas development agenda forward.
Mr Sagar expressed his countrys commitment to support the human resource development of the country.
As we put value on education, India will continue to support Ghana in capacity building, he said.
