The Ashanti Region is to organize a Meet-the-press programme to bring governance to the doorsteps of the people.
The event, which would be held in Kumasi, would provide the platform for all the 30 Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs) to tell their success stories.
A statement from the Regional Coordinating Council (RCC), signed by Mr Clement C. Kegeri, the Public Relations Officer, said the district assemblies would mount photo exhibitions on the various projects undertaken in their areas of jurisdiction.
Mr. Samuel Sarpong, the Regional Minister, would lead the presentations together with other Sector Ministers.
The statement said the media would have the opportunity to ask questions relating to the presentations at the forum, and urged them to be part of the programme.
