Drivers and passengers at the Odawna GPRTU trotro station have expressed worry about the piled up refuse at the station.
According to them, the refuse had piled up in the area for the past one month, posing a health hazard to them.
Describing the situation as an eyesore, they said the filth should be cleared immediately to bring sanity to the area.
Speaking to The Ghanaian Times yesterday, Mr Richard Ampah, secretary to the union, appealed to the Accra Metropolitan Assembly to endeavour to clear the refuse and to also provide containers at vantage points for people to dump waste materials to avoid an epidemic.
