Aggrieved family members of the late Upper East Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Adam Mahama, have threatened to deal ‘ruthlessly’ with the National Chairman of the party, Paul Afoko. Adam Mahama’s family stormed the Cocoa Affairs court in Accra on Tuesday and attacked relatives of Mr Afoko. “What did Adam do to you? We will lock Afoko up. It is him we want.
Gregory is an ex-convict but it is Afoko we want. They have to pour the acid on all of us too. They should get ready for war. How can they reap what they have not sown,” Adam Mahama's relative screamed. Gregory Afoko has been charged with conspiracy and murder of Adam Mahama who was killed after an acid attack.
According to some of the family members of the late Adam Mahama, their presence at the court was purposely to deal with the NPP national chairman, whom they believe instigated the death of their relative. Some of the members who poured their anger at the premises of the court said: “God will punish Gregory. They have killed Adams but they haven’t killed us all. Let them kill us all.”
