The Director of Public Affairs of Parliament, Kate Addo, has dismissed rumors that the official website of Parliament has been hacked into by some unknown persons.
She told The Ghanaian Times yesterday, that the supposed website was created by an unknown private individual, and not the official website of Parliament.
Information went spiral on social media over the weekend that a website, www.ghanaamps.gov.gh, had been hacked into by some unknown Palestinians.
The website has the inscription, ‘Free Palestine, Free Islam, Death to Zionist’.
“The website does not belong to Ghana’s Parliament. Our site is still intact. Anyone who wants information about Parliament should visit www.parliament.gh”, Ms Addo stressed.
She therefore, appealed to the public to disregard the rumor that the official website of Parliament had been hacked into.
