American civil rights activist, Reverend Jesse Jackson, has hosted former President John Dramani Mahama to dinner in Chicago, USA.
The dinner, attended by the Jackson family, afforded the two dignitaries the opportunity to discuss global issues, promoting peace and justice across the world, and improving the lives of African people.
President Mahama is in Chicago to deliver a series of lectures at the University of Chicago, the Chicago State University and the Northwestern University.
He will also interact with the Ghanaian Community in the Chicago Area and meet other groups.
Earlier, President Mahama was in Boston where he addressed the African Development Conference 2017 at the Harvard University and also interacted with students at the Boston University and MIT.
