Host of Joy Fm’s weekend news analysis programme Newsfile, Samson Lardi Ayenini has revealed that some persons are wishing him dead.
The legal practitioner and journalist who has come under a barrage of attacks since Saturday April 15, 2017 from supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) following the non representation of a panelist on last Saturday’s edition of Newsfile has also denied media reports his home was raided and he was attacked.
In response to enquiries by executive producer of Abusua Nkommo Akoto Mansa Attakora-Manu about the said attack Mr Ayenini said “Eunice, I spent almost the entire night reading for the show. I returned to get some rest. I am just waking up to the false news of being attacked by whoever in my home.
My wife actually got a call inquiring and that’s how I got to look at my phone and saw your message seeking to confirm same.
I am just seeing numerous similar enquiries by whatsapp and missed calls. Please ignore that so called breaking news. I am used to verbal attacks. Wify is worried a certain post wishing I had died in the recent accident though. That’s my only worry now. But these are occupational hazards. Thanks for your concern.”
Samson Lardi Ayenini it would be recalled a fortnight ago was involved in a near fatal accident on the Accra-Tema Motorway when another vehicle heading to Tema believed to have skidded off its lane, somersaulted and tumbled on Lardy Anyenini’s Nissan Pathfinder killing the driver of that car instantly.
He was said to have been rushed to the 37 Military Hospital where he was treated and later discharged but said his family members especially his wife are worried some persons wished he had died in that accident among other castigating posts on social media.

Samson ,pls don't mind those substandard brain npp supporters
no body give a fuuuuuuk about u. Ur mother wants u dead. Kwassssshia
I think in Ghana when people are getting to the top, they become complacent, arrogant, and pompous and I think the likes of ayenini and othe joyfm journalists ate in the category. The very people you see going up are the same people you see when coming down. Mr Ayenini, I like you so much especially you professionalism and impartial in your work but please humble yourself. No one wish you dead. Ghanaians wish you well
Samson, you're not supposed to make the news. You just report it. For once, keep that mouth shut.
I have nothing wirh u representing a client of either political divide just as a doctor will treat each patient irrespective of the persons back.but the society in which we kive in is not that develop ed hence you have to be circumspective in your decision. You can take the case and hand it over to a colleague in athe same law firm.Sometimes if if you follow legal winning you may be swept of your tracks.Sit back and analyze ur path.
My friend nobody wishes you dead. You are not that important. Whiles some of us used to admire the way you conducted yourself on the show remember that you are not expendable. You could be replaced tomorrow. That's how fickle the world is ,my friend. What you said about those guys was distasteful and arrogant and indeed I think you were only talking smack of the guys. To be successful in your field you need to be humble. This uppity attitude, trust me is not going to get you anywhere. If you are an NDC man that's fine but don't get too big for your breeches.Everybody says you're becoming pompous.Watch out my friend.I don't think anybody wants you dead though. The path of death is one all of us will tread one day.If Adu -Asare can appear on the show who can't
dead for what? mtwewwwwwwwwww
Brother, nobody wishes that you were a dead meat. Just play fair, Please just be fair and have a clear conscience. I believe you should NOT have opted to represent Kofi Adams or any NDC or any politician mired in any corruption or dirty deals no matter what economically benmefits you'll reap. You are a journalist and the program you present has the most political steam; you must be seen as impartial and non-compromised. in the eyes of the public if you;re perceived as bought or damaged goods, you will lose a lot of respect. Please have a clear conscience; CLEAR CONSCIENCE,and if possible stay away from representing politicians who are perceived to be corrupt. You just can't have your cake and eat it. You are either an impartial journalist doing a political show or you are lawyer avowed to defend even the devil if he pays you right. Chose where you stand!!!
This is a classical example of damage control. We will treat this with the contempt it deserves. We want an unqualified apology. Period
No one wishes Samson dead. He's an intelligent and passionate tv host and I personally have a lot of respect for how he runs newsfile. HOWEVER, he has become incredibly arrogant lately and that's so obvious based on many of the things he says and how he interacts with panelists. This recent Npp guest saga is a classic example. He should not have said what he said. The other problem is - how is it possible this guy represents every NDC big wig that regularly frequents the show. He is the lawyer for kofi Adams, muntaka etc. I have serious issues with this. Complete conflict of interest
