Madam Hannah Adubia, a 70-year old farmer and Eva Prempeh; a 45-year old hairdresser have both won Hyundai i10 valued GHC80,000 as part of give aways donated to widows by the CEO of Despite Group of Companies, Dr Osei Kwame and his brother, Dr Ernest Ofori, CEO of Special Group of Companies.
The widows who were from Wiamoase, Ashanti Region; the hometown of Osei Kwame numbered over 1000.
They were presented with various products such as rice, cooking oil, cloth, cooking utensils and special products.
The colourful ceremony was graced by chiefs and people of Wiamoase and indigenes living outside the country.
The durbar, which is an annual event, was used by citizens of wiamoase in the diaspora to raise funds in support of developmental projects in the area.
They were full of joy as they expressed their appreciation to the CEOs of Despite Group of Companies and Special group of Companies for the kind gesture and honour done them.
