Vigilante group affiliated to the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Invisible force, has seized the Ashaiman Taboo line Biakoye Trotro station in the Greater Accra Region, assaulting drivers and passengers in the process.
Speaking to Abusua Dawuro’s Emmanuel Brew Daniels, the drivers said members of the Invisible Force stormed the lorry station saying their party is in power and have been asked to take over management of the lorry station.
The drivers narrating the incidents to Emmanuel Daniels said about ten members of the group stormed the toll booth and raided the lorry terminal while assaulting them and passengers alike.
“We are appealing to President Nana Addo to call the member of the Invisible Force to order because we will not allow them to take over the trotro station” the drivers said.
The drivers added, ”we are ready to fight the invincible forces to the last drop of our blood any day.”
