Ghana’s most loved brand Indomie delighted the students of University of Ghana (Legon Campus) with its day-long Indomie Campus Invasion event last Saturday. The first edition of the fun event targeted to engage university students took place at the University of Cape Coast last month.

As part of the Dr. Hilla Limann Hall week celebrations on March 9, instant noodles giant, Indomie, arranged a first-of-its-kind experiential centre, ‘Indomie Lounge’. Packed with a number of fun-filled activities, the lounge offered delicious Indomie meals, games and activities.  To form a connection with Indomie’s ‘Love it your Way’ theme campaign, students got the opportunity to choose their favourite preparation of Indomie meal by spinning an Indomie Wheel of Fortune. A chilled mocktail made by a professional mixologist was served. That apart, students engaged in activities such as pool, foosball and board games including oware, ludo and monopoly. Women got their nails done and painted. Outside the lounge, many students took part in human foosball, paintball and basketball.

After sundown, the stage opened up for a music concert where over 20 budding underground artistes were given a platform to showcase their talent. The concert was headlined by hip-hop sensation Medikal and rapper group La Meme Gang. Chartbusters and hit numbers beguiled the students.

Belo Cida Haruna, area marketing manager at Multipro Private Limited, the distributors of Indomie, said, ‘Indomie is tasty and easy-to-cook, which makes it a convenient delicacy for students in their busy lives. Through Indomie Campus Invasion, we would like to offer students a never-seen-before experience of fun, food, music, games and entertainment. Students love Indomie so we thought of reaching out to them during the hall week celebrations.’

Indomie Campus Invasion started its journey on February 16, 2019, as part of the Dr. Kwame Nkrumah Hall week celebrations at University of Cape Coast (UCC). Next up, Indomie Campus Invasion might soon travel to another campus.
