Eric Kojo Duah, the prime suspect in last Wednesday's killing of two police officers at Buduburam in the Central Region has been arrested.
He was arrested at Atimpoku on Saturday morning. He was reportedly trying to cross the Adomi Bridge to the Volta Region when police officers on guard duties at the bridge arrested him.
He had tried to disguise his looks with a plaster on the left side of his face.
Upon a telephone call received from the police headquarters in Accra, the police officers detailed on duty at the Atimpoku bridge were alerted to arrest occupants of a black Golf vehicle with the registration number GW 5972 - 18, which was heading towards the Volta region.
The officers at the bridge then arrested the occupants which included suspect Eric Kojo Duah.
Eric Kojo Duah had a plaster on the left side of his face. As soon as the arrest was made, he was taken to the police headquarters in Accra.

was it not the police headquarters that called the kasoa divisional command to release the guy when he shot someone's hand. why do you have to take him to the headquarters again? has the person who gave the order for him to be released left? the sargent who led the team has made a biiigggg mistake. they should have gunned his 2legs to cripple him.
Thank God the murderer was arrested trying to cross the Adomi Bridge into volta region. >…..I want to ask what has become of those aiding this murderer to cross into volta region in that VW GOLF car? Again why is the murderer running away when no gun has been pointed at him? >...Ghana police are doing a very good job when it involves their own but that seriousness can not be seen when it is the ordinary citizen. >...Are the police saying that they don't know where all this criminals and Murderers terrorizing the citizens in the country lives? Am just asking Ooooo. Please I needed some answers to this bothering questions there are more questions for the police to answer but.... Why do you have to lose a soul before you act? My sindere condolence to police force, the family and Ghana as a whole
if the police is casual in protecting the citizens, they would be embolden to attack police officers. the police needs to be serious in the discharge of their duties. arresting this di.. is in right duties.
Ghana police don't need guns but before Ghana police had a small baton on their hands called Talk-True and they should introduce that kind of baton on their hands instead of guns
The problem is why did the Ministry of Interior grant such a person permit to possess a pistol ? Ministry of Interior has deviated from its duties of being a coordinating to operational ministry
I believe this man have killed before. this individual should be looked at very critically , his action depicts a career dangerous criminal. so with other victims the police actually get to know the murderers they are just bribed to make it ***barred word*** case. otherwise why was Feneck murderer( whom we all know anyway as one bulldog) not apprehended. if Fenech was a police man it would have been done long ago
It looks as if the police are only on top of their job when one of them become causality. The swiftness with which they arrest criminals when it's about their men is quite impressive. One would be happy if they will do same when the ordinary Ghanaian is also affected. From the way criminals are banned when it's about service men, it is evident that you do the job. It is about time the policemen ignore orders from these ***barred word*** and ediiotic politicians and do their jobs professionally to gain the respect and confidence of the citizens. If they keep paying attention to these politicians their work will be impeded and the public may not be cooperative with them. Kudos for Good job done. I doff my hat for you.
This gay should have been killed by now. Why should the police allow people who kill their colleagues to live?
I don't want to hear this big English called due process, just give him Ray food to eat finish
It is time the Ghana police sit up and be more professional. They should stop molesting civilians and collecting bribes from them to regain their respect. The police needs information about the criminals but if you give them, they go and betray you. The protocol system in Ghana police should stop immediately. We are on their side so they should put their house in order.
