Hi Peacefmonline I think it about time we as a people put pressure on the Ghana standards authority to ensure that only the best of quality of LPG accessories are imported to Ghana. Growing up in the early 2000 my family barely change our gas regulator. But the story is different today. The average Ghanaian who observes the best practices of separating the regulator from the cylinder after every cooking much be in the position to change regulators almost every 3 months. These products in the markets are so inferior to the extent that almost every home has a weight (stones) exerted on their regulator to prevent leakages. I appreciate the fact that not every Ghanaian may be in a good financial position to to buy premium products, but the lose of life and property that comes with persistent gas explosion due to leakages are priceless. I think the media in Ghana has a voice loud enough to compel the GSA to ensure only premium LPG accessories are sold on the Ghanaian market.
