Fire gutted some cosmetic shops near the White Chapel building at Makola in Accra on Wednesday.
Items destroyed in the fire included cosmetic products.
The Ghana National Fire Service(GNFS) sent six fire engines to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading further to other shops.
The service indicated that "accessibility to the affected shops was a challenge due to hardcore burglar proofing"
There were no casualties.
The GNFS in a statement on Facebook said it was investigating the cause of fire.
