Moves to have representation of two people in the electoral reforms committee on behalf of minority parties, isn’t an imposition the Electoral Commission has observed.
Christian Owusu Parry, who is the Acting Head of Public Affairs of the Commission stated on Radio Ghana that there has been a historical pattern where parties are represented by one or two people in committees formed by the Commission.
The Progressive People’s Party were included in the committee and for this reason, have described it is an imposition; but Christian Owusu Parry responded by describing their position as strange and wondered why they are raising concern about the representation of the current committee.
