Togbe Kotoku XI, Paramount Chief of Kpenoe, at the weekend called on Ghanaians to desist from constantly finding fault with the government.
He said instead, everyone should work hard to support the
government implement its programmes. Togbe Kotoku who is also an evangelist, was speaking at a special Fathers Day session of the Mens Fellowship of Jubilee Christian Centre in Ho.
He noted that many people had left their productive works and
were only finding fault with the government and people in authority
and said that attitude is incorrect.
Togbe Kotoku therefore charged fathers to sit up as the heads of
their families and society and work hard towards the rapid
socio-economic development of the country and stop murmuring and
calling into radio programmes to complain.
Criticism is not that bad but the way all of us especially
opposition parties constantly find fault with ruling governments is
not the bestďż˝, he said.
Togbe Kotoku observed that Christians were the worst offenders,
constantly judging others instead of praying for them and urged them
to repent. Judgment belongs to God. The more you despise people, the more you drive them away from God and from doing the right thing, he said.
