President John Evans Atta Mills says he is optimistic of retaining power by a landslide victory.
He said the people of Ghana have seen the good works of his administration since 2009.
President Mills said this when members of the Presidential Press Corps and some Castle Staff presented him with a card containing goodwill messages on the eve of his 68th birthday at the Castle, Osu.
He said government will continue to let the people know the judicious way it has used the resources of the state.
President Mills therefore called for hard work, dedication and commitment from all and sundry.
