President of Young Patriots, a pro-New Patriotic Party (NPP) youth group, Richard Nyamah has accused President John Mahama of being the mastermind of the raid on one of the partys headquarters.

The question is why president Mahama would instruct the police and military to do what they did because the police and the military commander all feigned innocence and lack of knowledge when this came out last night."

When probed on his evidence for the allegation, Mr. Nyamah noted, The President is the commander of the Ghana Armed Forces. The police and military denied knowledge of this operation so if the people in charge of these institutions are not aware of it and the Deputy Minister of Information goes out to tell Ghanaians that the President has ordered a red alert, somebody must have informed and ordered the military and police to do what they did.

The police, in an earlier statement refuted claims by the NPP that it had raided their offices.

According to Mr. Nyamah indicated that, I do not expect the police to admit anything. If you take their statement, it is so contradicting in itself; the fact that they are alleging the issue happened at the headquarters and the fact that it was supposed to be some arms that we were depositing here by some twenty macho men, he said.

I dont think that NPP is that daft to put arms next to our headquarters. Our flagbearer has put it out that we should calm our tempers because he does not want any violence. We have tried not to be tempted but every human being has their limit. If you push us to the wall, at a point we will have to respond, he said.

The president of the youth group further disclosed, Intelligence we have picked is that this place is about to be ransacked again. We have no reason to relocate our process of research to gather evidence to go to court and prove that the election was stolen.

Our problem is that the National Peace Council does not see the need to have their voice heard. Today we are having situations that can lead this country to the brink. Martin Luther King said peace is not the absence of war but the presence of justice, he stated.

If the National Peace council thinks that they are for peace, let us hear them, he added.
