The Ghana Private Road Transport Union, GPRTU, has also appealed to all Ghanaians especially, the opposition to give peace a chance.
Speaking to Radio Ghana, the Greater Accra Regional Chairman, Alhaji Antie Tetteh, said the tension in some parts of the country does not auger well for development.
On preparations towards the Christmas and New Year festivities, Alhaji Tetteh advised drivers to exercise patience on the roads to prevent accidents.
